Vinylalderens gyldne æra – 101 væsentlige rockplader

Vi kender disse bøger, der gør enhver musiknørd svag i koderne: Antologier, der gennemgår de plader, vi må lytte til, inden det er for sent, eller som tilhører den 500 bedste gennem tiderne. 101 Essential Rock Records: The Golden Age of Vinyl, from The Beatles to The Sex Pistols tilhører kategorien, og hvis den slipper igennem til min i forvejen belastede boghylde, så skyldes det, at en række kende musikere her deler deres oplevelse af ikoniske album. Fx Devendra Banhart, David Bowie, Peter Buck (R.E.M.), Nels Cline (Wilco), Robyn Hitchcock, Johnny Marr (The Smiths), Graham Nash og Suzanne Vega.
