I know it’s cool and that the kids love it but I don’t really get it, ya know what I mean? I listen to a lot of ’60s doo-wop, soul and Motown girl groups…I like the attitude and drama of it, [but] I didn’t so much like the polished groups. I’m not a big Supremes fan. Jeg bilder mig ind, at jeg godt ved, hvad Amy mener, og at jeg har det nogenlunde som hun fortæller her, når hun forsigtigt distancerer sig til tidens toneart og - affejer Supremes som et poleret band. Men, men, jeg elsker nu stadigvæk The Supremes, der ved gud var poleret, men også meget sensuelle og medrivende i deres pop… Ligesom jeg elsker Goldie and the Gingerbreads for deres rå garagepoplyd.
