Det er gået lidt op og ned med mig og Jackson Browne, siden dengang i halvfjerdserne, hvor jeg var helt oppe at ringe på hans plader. Jeg ved egentlig ikke, hvorfor det er gået sådan, for hans plader holder i den grad – i kraft af nogle gode sange. Og lige nu er jeg kommet ind i en bølge igen – i kraft af et enkelt nummer, “Running on empty”, der er med på den tidligere omtalte Forrest Gump-soundtrack-plade.
