Julen er over os. Og i Afghanistan kæmper unge danske (o.a.) mænd mod vejsidebomber, bagholdsangreb og selvmordsbomber – hvis det ikke lige er mod deres egne allierede. En krig, der er lige så meningsfuld som krigen i Irak. De unge mænd tror på nytten af deres arbejde. Fint med det. Vi ønsker dem en god og fredelig jul derude og håber, at de alle til hobe kommer hjem med liv og lemmer i behold.
For 40 år siden indsang Country Joe and the Fish “Feel like I’m fixing to die rag” på Vanguard Records og den blev et af det årtis markante almenpolitiske kvad. På en eller anden måde har tingene ikke flyttet sig ret meget siden dengang…
