Jeg får ikke lyttet til så meget radio som jeg gjorde engang. Men de såkaldte podcast har sneget sig ind på mine mp3-afspillere. Og det er også en slags radio, kan man sige. Fx har jeg lyttet til P6 Beats temaer om Lou Reed og David Bowie. Du kan lytte med og hente ned her.

Jeg faldt over denne obskure udgivelse med 32 skæringer fra perioden 1964 til 1969. Som titlen angiver er der tale om ‘kontroversielle’ udgaver af Ray Davies- og Kinks-sange. Vi skal ikke glemme spindesiden i musikken. I går blev ex-Supremes-forsangerinden Diana Ross 70 år. Og som forsangerinde i netop den gruppe tilhørte hun eliten i soul og pop i tresserne, selv om man godt kan – og det er blevet gjort – diskutere om ikke der var bedre sangerinder end hende. Never mind. Hun skal fejres her. Og hun er stadigvæk aktiv. I 2013 turnerede hun i såvel Sydafrika som USA.
